Macon is the largest producing area of white wine in BurgundyWhite wine in Macon is light and dry it is an everyday inexpensive wine. Macon also still produces a red wine that is light to medium and fruity. Macon Supérieur wines come from the same area but have more alcohol, most of the Superieur wines are sold under the regular Macon classification.
