This Merlot from Australia is for me an amazing easy going Red, it is my first pick when looking for an economy wine that has great flavor and goes incredibly well with BBQ and always dissapears at parties. It is a full bodied fruity(blackberry) Merlot with a nice velvety finish. As stated before it is a great BBQ accompanyment especially with beef ribs or a thick organic rib eye steak. As you can tell I truly enjoy the Little Penguin Merlot.. Oh btw it pairs well with spicy food as well.. ..

On an impulse bought this in expensive sparkling wine from the liquor store to celebrate the completion of some renovations we had commissioned. We were all pleasantly surprised as to the taste and quality of this sparkling wine. It is what I can only refer to as a full bodied semi sweet fruity wine with nice acidity. The wines bubbles were refreshing not overpowering and it has a very pleasant aftertaste... we wanted more after is was finished ..

This Zinfandel is a lighter Zinfandel, Rosenblum Zinfandel is a fairly typical inexpensive California Zinfandel, it’s definitely good, but I am not amazed by it. It is predominantly big blackberry and raisin flavors. I did appreciate it with the BBQ but the flavors for that BBQ were lighter in nature BBQ'd vegetables (zucchini egg plant) along with a mildly spiced chicken ..

A great Chilean Wine Chile. This Cabernet Sauvignon from Terra Andina is quite excellent it is a well balanced smooth blend of fruit and chocolate. It is a medium bodied bright purple wine with a great tannins and a balanced taste. Worked well with BBQ'd lamb and potatoes .. ..
