Excellent Canadian Sparkling wine very tiny bubbles not
overpowering great apple flavour with a nice sweet (honey, but not
too sweet finish). Perfect for your Holiday Celebrations.

Summerhill
Estate Winery Cipes Blanc de Noir
This sparkling wine from the Okanagan Valley is gold coloured
with small bubbles. It exhibits excellent acidity and is medium
bodied with an excellent fruit flavour (pears to be exact). This is
an excellent Champagne substitute.
Serve with: Cheese,
Appetizers, dessert, shellfish, spicy food, or simply celebrate
Jackson-Triggs
Proprietors’ Grand Reserve Methode Classique
This amazing sparkling wine hails
from from the Bowen vineyard in the Niagara peninsula. This wine is
mildly citrus (lemony) in flavour. It is medium bodied with a nice
crisp finish, you will not be disappointed.
Serve with: Cheese,
Appetizers, dessert, shellfish, spicy food, or simply celebrate
2005
MERITAGE, from Daniel Lenko Estate Winery
Intense aromas of blueberry,
blackberry and vanilla jump out. This is a full bodied well rounded
delicious wine.
Serve with: Lamb (Grilled or Broiled), Lamb and
classic beef dishes including Stroganoff, steak with Bordelaise,
Bearnaise or other rich sauces, Turkey, Duck Goose, and pheasant.
White
Meritage, 2004, from Sumac Ridge Winery
This Meritage is a blend of
Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon from south Okanagan British Columbia.
This is an excellent deep robust wine. It has plenty of aromatics,
and a dare I say it again "robustness" that comes from
barrel ageing for ten months in oak. Deep, velvety, earthy ..

with: Chicken, fish and shellfish
Mystic
River Vineyards Gewürztraminer, 2007, from Wild Goose
Vineyards
This Gewürztraminer is
extremely flavourful with hints of tropical fruits and a nice
sweetness. It is an intensely flavoured and aromatic wine.
Serve
with: Rich flavored appetizers like gravlax or liver pâté,
Quebec Fois Gras . Spicy foods, Curries.
Oculus,
2004, a red Bordeaux blend from the Mission Hill Family Estate
Do you like blackberries and
chocolate?? If you are like me and you do then this wine is for you
deep dark chocolate with raspberry highlights .. Stands alone or
pairs well with food, either way well worth the experience .. ummh
chocolate :)
Serve with: grilled and roasted red meats and medium
cheese.
Le
Clos Jordanne Vineyard Pinot Noir, 2004, from Le Clos Jordanne
A product of Jordan Ontario. This
wine is the definition of Pinot Noir: it is a lighter coloured and
flavoured red wine. Well-suited to pair with poultry, ham, lamb and
pork. Its a balance of sweet red cherries flavoured and aged oak
making it a well-balanced Pinot Noir
Serve with: grilled or
sautéed beef tenderloin. Perfect with Prime Rib. Fish poached
in Pinot Noir.

Riesling,
2006, Tantalus Vineyards near Kelowna
This Riesling from Kelowna British
Columbia is an aromatic wine with nice lemon citrus flavour with
excellent acidity. It is a well rounded Riesling and well worth the
experience.
Serve with: appetizers, desserts, pork, poultry or
fish, spicy food
Riesling
Icewine, 2004, from Henry of Pelham Family Estate Winery
All I can say is Rich, viscous and
luscious need I say more ...
Serve with: Serve in wide mouth
glasses to maximize bouquet and flavour on it own or with, cheese
foie gras.
Rosewood
Estates Winery 2006 Merlot
This is a full flavoured fruity
(blackberry) Merlot, the tannins are well balanced and it has a very
nice finish. I found it to have just the right amount of sweetness
and a memorable finish.
Serve with: Lamb (Grilled or Broiled),
Lamb and classic beef dishes including Stroganoff, steak with
Bordelaise, Bearnaise or other rich sauces. Turkey, Duck Goose, and
pheasant.
Jackson
Triggs 2005 Delaine Vineyard Syrah
Syrah, Syrah Syrah this one has a rich deep luscious feel to
it with hints of black cherries. It is a smooth drinkable wine that
has an amazing finish that keeps you coming back for more.
Serve
with: grilled meats, wild game, richly flavoured red meats, beef
stew and Turkey Dinner.
